Your date begins with a message from the Society. Something has happened, an answer is still out there, and you have been chosen to investigate.
From there, your mystery sends you to your first location. Once you arrive, you can settle in and read the next part of your case. You may find Society recommendations for food or drinks along with new information about the investigation.
Eventually, you will need to look around. Somewhere at the location is a detail connected to your password riddle. Finding it unlocks the next part of the story and tells you where your date is headed next.
A Date Where You Have Something to Do Together
One of our favorite things about a mystery date is how quickly it gives you something to talk about.
You start forming theories. One of you notices a detail the other missed. A perfectly reasonable answer sends you down the wrong path for a few minutes. Then somebody spots what has been sitting nearby the entire time.
The mystery keeps moving with you throughout the outing, so the conversation tends to follow it. You can still sit over a drink and catch up. There just happens to be a Society investigation sitting on the table beside you.
