Welcome to Riddle & Roam LLC. By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or participating in our mystery adventures, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use our products or services.
1. Independent Entertainment Experience
Riddle & Roam LLC creates and sells self-guided mystery adventures for entertainment
purposes. Our adventures are independently created and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by The Walt Disney Company, Universal Studios or any restaurants, hotels, lounges, retailers, attractions, or other businesses referenced within our materials.
All trademarks, service marks, business names, and property names belong to their respective owners and are used solely for identification and descriptive purposes.
2. Eligibility
Participants are responsible for ensuring they can safely complete an adventure. Minors
should be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult.
3. Accessibility & Mobility
Our mystery adventures are designed as walking experiences that take place across existing public spaces and businesses. Routes, distances, terrain, and accessibility features may vary by adventure and may change over time.
Participants are responsible for determining whether an adventure is suitable for their
individual mobility, accessibility, or other personal needs. We encourage participants to
review the adventure details before purchasing and to take breaks as needed.
Because the locations featured in our mysteries are independently owned or operated, we cannot guarantee the availability of accessible entrances, elevators, seating,
restrooms, or other accommodations. If you require accessibility assistance, we
recommend contacting the individual venue directly before you visit.
4. Adventure Participation
Our adventures are self-guided experiences that take place in public locations and businesses. Participants are responsible for their own actions, decisions, transportation, expenses, and conduct throughout the experience.
Participants agree to:
- Follow all applicable laws and regulations.
- Follow all rules, policies, and instructions established by any location visited.
- Respect employees, guests, and property at all times.
- Exercise reasonable judgment regarding weather, crowds, and personal safety.
5. Food, Beverage, and Other Purchases
Unless specifically noted in an adventure’s description, purchasing food, beverages,
merchandise, or other goods is not required to participate. Any purchases made during
your adventure are transactions solely between you and the individual business. Riddle
& Roam LLC does not process, manage, or guarantee any products or services offered
by third-party businesses.
6. Location Availability
Our mysteries are designed using publicly available locations that are open at the time
of publication. However, business hours, menus, operating procedures, admission
requirements, and access policies may change without notice. Locations may also close
temporarily or permanently due to renovations, private events, weather, capacity limits,
or other circumstances beyond our control.
Riddle & Roam LLC is not responsible if a featured location is closed, temporarily unavailable, relocated, operating under modified hours, or otherwise inaccessible.
Participants are encouraged to verify operating hours before beginning an adventure.
If a location is unexpectedly unavailable during your visit, you may still continue enjoying the surrounding area and return to complete that portion of the adventure when the location reopens, if needed. While we make every effort to keep our adventures current, Riddle & Roam LLC cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to every featured location and is not responsible for changes made by third-party businesses.
7. Operational Changes
Theme park operations, resort access, transportation, entertainment offerings, and
dining availability may change at any time. Participants are responsible for ensuring
they have any required park admission, reservations, or other access necessary for the
locations included in an adventure.
8. Assumption of Risk
Participation in a self-guided adventure involves inherent risks associated with travel, walking, public spaces, weather conditions, crowds, transportation, and interactions with third parties.
By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation and accept full responsibility for your own safety and well-being.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riddle & Roam LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, expense, or other claim arising from or related to participation in an adventure. Participation is entirely at your own risk.
10. Intellectual Property
All adventure content, including stories, riddles, clues, graphics, designs, logos, text, and downloadable materials, is the property of Riddle & Roam LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing an adventure grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable limited right to access and use the materials solely for your own personal use.
You may not:
- Reproduce or distribute adventure materials.
- Share purchased files publicly.
- Resell, copy, modify, or create derivative works from our content.
- Publish complete solutions, passwords, or answer keys without written permission.
- Use the materials in any manner that infringes, misappropriates, or otherwise violates any intellectual property right, or that violates applicable law, regulation, or rule.
11. Feedback
We welcome your comments, suggestions, ideas, and feedback about our mystery
adventures, website and services. If you choose to submit feedback to us, you agree
that your feedback is provided voluntarily and without any expectation of compensation,
confidentiality or attribution. You grant Riddle & Roam LLC a perpetual, irrevocable,
worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and otherwise incorporate your feedback into our products, services, and business operations for any purpose.
You represent that you have the right to provide such feedback and that doing so does
not infringe upon the rights of any third party. While we appreciate every suggestion, we
are under no obligation to use or respond to any feedback.
12. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final unless otherwise stated. If you experience a technical issue accessing your purchase, please contact us and we
will make reasonable efforts to assist you.
13. Accuracy of Information
We strive to keep our adventures accurate and current. However, we do not guarantee that all information, business details, operating hours, or location features described in an adventure will remain unchanged.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
